Colonists and Morale in Wall World Strategy
Your colony is made up of people who live, work and depend on your decisions. Their condition sets the productivity of the whole colony and how long it can endure danger. Overpopulation, food shortages or supply disruptions quickly lower efficiency and can tip into crisis and riots. The Morale bar is where you watch this happen, and its display was improved in the Demo Update.

Riots What a crisis can end in
Keep the peace Grow housing before the population outgrows it, keep food and supplies flowing, and check the Morale bar after every attack or emergency. Problems compound: a short food gap during a wave costs far more than the same gap in quiet time.

Why colonists decide your output
- People run everything — The population is the core of the strategy: its state determines how productive the entire colony is.
- Endurance under threat — The same condition decides how well the colony endures long stretches of danger. A strong, well-supported society recovers faster from zyrex attacks.
- They react to your choices — Colonists respond to the decisions you make, so expansions, cuts and priorities all show up in how they behave and work.
- Read the Morale bar — Morale has its own bar in the interface. The Demo Update improved how it is displayed, making a falling mood easier to catch early.

The three roads to a riot
- Overpopulation — Growing faster than your housing and services means more people competing for the same space, which drags efficiency down.
- Food shortages — Running short of food is named directly as a cause of declining efficiency. Plan food production alongside every new living area.
- Supply disruptions — Broken supply lines have the same effect. Emergency events that knock out a road or building can create a disruption without any shortage in storage.
- From crisis to riots — Any of the three can escalate quickly: first a drop in efficiency, then crisis, then riots. Fixing the cause early is cheaper than recovering from unrest.
